01 Documentation & software · for manufacturing

The work that runs on one person's memory is the work that breaks.

Aptibot turns undocumented processes and manual busywork into audit-ready documents and software that hold up without you — built by a process engineer who validates drug-delivery and consumer-electronics production lines for a living.

Aptibot's founder has 8+ years in regulated, high-volume manufacturing. Process validation for drug-delivery devices under ISO 13485 and MDR, new-product introduction for Apple-program consumer electronics (first-pass yield lifted from 85% to 92%), and NPD leadership on orthopedic and industrial equipment. Process capability has been held above Cpk 1.33 on validated medical-device production lines. That is the engineering background behind every document and every line of code.

02 Why Aptibot

Most documentation consultants can't write code. Most software shops have never read a FAT protocol.

Aptibot is the rare overlap: an engineer who understands the plant floor — tolerances, validation, change control, audits — and ships production software. So the SOP and the tool that enforces it come from the same hands. No translation layer, no junior team learning your domain on your dime.

05 The value isn't the formatting

It's the judgment most people leave out.

Anyone can tidy your notes. The difference is what an engineer adds that you didn't think to say — the tolerance, the sign-off, the failure mode that turns a clean-looking document into one that actually protects you. Toggle it on.

SOP-HT-014 · BATCH ANNEALING · FURNACE #3
What the operator told us

"Heat the parts up to around 730, cool it slow and QA checks the hardness. Pretty standard anneal."

What we delivered
2.3 Ramp to soak under inert atmosphere — 730 ± 14 °C Caught: "around 730" isn't a spec. We bounded it to ±14 °C — outside that band, 4140 doesn't fully stress-relieve. An auditor can't sign off on "around."
2.5 Controlled furnace cool, lid closed — ≤ 55 °C / hr Caught: "cool it slow" is the part that scraps lots. Uncontrolled cooling re-hardens and cracks 4140. We set a verifiable rate, not a vibe.
2.6 QA verifies hardness coupon — 22–28 HRC · QA sign-off Added: a named acceptance range and a second-person sign-off. "QA checks it" is not a record; this is what an audit asks to see.
3.0 Records & deviation route — MRB if > ±14 °C Added: the operator never mentioned what happens when it goes wrong. We did — because that's the question you'll be asked.
FOUR THINGS ADDED THAT THE SOURCE NOTES NEVER MENTIONED — EACH ONE A SCRAPPED LOT OR A FAILED AUDIT AVOIDED.
06 How we protect you

The terms a stranger should ask for — answered up front.

Confidentiality

NDA-ready, always

Your processes are your edge. We sign your NDA before you send anything, or provide ours. Nothing is shared, published, or reused as a sample without written consent.

Ownership

You own all IP & code

Every document, every line of code, every file is yours on delivery — full rights, source included. No lock-in, no licensing games, no dependency on us to keep running.

Data handling

Minimal, on request, deleted

We take only the inputs a job requires, work in access-controlled storage, and delete source material on completion when you ask. Sensitive data never goes near third-party training.

Engagement

One small step first

Start with a single document or one workflow at a fixed, quoted price. Judge the work before you scale it. No retainers required, no multi-month commitments to begin.
